These are just some of the accolades describing the UPwithART show of March 10, 2011 at The Palace Theatre. A stellar roster of 70 visual artists hailed from the veteran art scene of London to emerging up-and-coming artists, youth artists and Unity Project residents and friends. 96 works of art were on display to stimulate the 300 or so arty-party patrons. We also enjoyed the beautiful music of Marty Kolls and A Priori, an inspiring photography slideshow by Scott Lightfoot and original live theatre, a one-act play “My Brother’s Keeper”, by Matt Loop and performed by Harry Edison. Our community partners including Strand Fine Art Services and Museum London helped bring it all together with true respect and passion for art and community. Truly, a celebration of art in all its forms. 

UPwithART net $12,000 for the Unity Project emergency shelter and transitional housing services. We treasure the friends we made and whose good company we enjoyed throughout the entire experience. Stay tuned for next year.
