The Unity Project encourages individuals and groups to compliment and support services offered to residents. There are also opportunities to work in areas of planning, policy and fundraising through volunteering on committees and with special projects.

Volunteers share talents and skills that advance our programs and services and make the Unity Project experience valuable for residents. We are committed to providing an opportunity for volunteers to grow personally and enhance their skills.

These opportunities include:

In-House Volunteers assist staff with daily routines and maintenance at the project.

Frontline Support Internship involves a three-phase supervised training process:
1. initiate frontline support
2. intermediate frontline support
3. Designated frontline staff

Special Project volunteers get involved to assist with specific events.

Community Volunteers serve on committees and advisory boards and get involved in planning and implementing various projects.
